ByLamm Diamonds was founded in 2017 by Trine Lamm.

Trine’s journey began with a dedicated pursuit of knowledge, as she graduated from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a Graduate Gemologist. During her time at GIA, Trine immersed herself in an intensive study of diamonds, gemstones, and pearls, which entailed an in-depth understanding of their unique properties, characteristics, and value factors.

After having graduated from GIA, Trine decided to expand her knowledge and expertise by enrolling in Jewellery Valuation at the National Association of Goldsmiths in London. During her studies, Trine delved into the fascinating world of appraisals, honing her skills in assessing the worth of precious items, from silver candelabras, antique brooches and tiaras, to unset diamonds.

After completing her studies, and having gained valuable experience and knowledge within the market from having worked in the Antwerp Diamond District, Trine finally embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, transforming her passion into her livelihood and founding ByLamm.
