Is This Diamond A Good Investment?

Maybe you, like many others, are currently considering investing in diamonds. Investment diamonds are somewhat a safe haven, their rarity gives them a very high value and their value increases naturally. So what is an excellent diamond to invest in? The best way I can demonstrate this is by taking you through what a bad investment diamond looks like.

Look at the diamond below, what do you think about it?

It is a brilliant cut, 3 carats, colour G, and clarity I2.

And the price? It’s fantastic, 18.000 Euro.  Now you might think that is a bargain, but remember, there is never a cheap diamond, there is ALWAYS a catch.

So, should you buy it? NO

Now you might ask, why not?

Firstly, you should never buy a diamond with a clarity grade of I2 for investment, and secondly, it doesn’t have a certificate, so you don’t know anything about the cut grade.

But on the other hand, if you don’t want to spend too much money yet still want a huge diamond, then maybe this is the one. Just don’t hope that you will make money on it.
