The biggest engagement known given, is the one Mariah Carey received from billionaire James Packer. A 35 carat Ascher cut diamond. When James Packer broke off the engagement, Maria was lucky enough to keep the 10 million USD diamond ring, which she sold in 2018 for 2 million USD
Elizabeth Taylor – Richard Burton.
The second biggest engagement ring was the one Richard Burton gave to Elizabeth Taylor, a 33 carat Asscher cut called the Krupp Diamond. And Elizabeth wore it every single day for the rest of her life.
Paris Hilton – Paris Latsis.
Paris Hilton got a 24 carat diamond in 2008 worth 4.7 million USD, but never made it down the aisle. She stopped wearing the ring just 4 months after the engagement.
Kim Kardashian – Kanye West
They first got engaged with a 15 carat cushion cut diamond ring, which was later upgraded to a 20 carat diamond, when Kanye West closed his deal with Adidas. The ring became even more famous when it was stolen at a jewellery heist in Paris. It was said to be worth 8 million USD, but since the theft lawyers and police officials clarified that it is worth 4.5 million USD.
Grace Kelly – Prince Rainer III of Monaco
Grace Kelly was proposed to by her prince in 1955 with an incredible 10,47 carat emerald cut diamond made by Cartier.
Melania Trump – Donald Trump.
When Donald Trump popped the question to Melania, in the early 2000s, it was with a beautiful 12 carat diamond ring made by Graff, estimated at 3 million USD.
Blake Lively – Ryan Reynolds.
I don’t know, which I prefer – Ryan Reynolds or the 12 carat oval diamond ring he proposed with. The couple got married in 2012 and has 3 children.
Mirah Carey – Nick Cannon
Mariah has been engaged twice. The first time to Nick Cannon in 2008, with a 17 carat emerald cut pink diamond, surrounded with 58 smaller pink diamonds, AND 2 half moons at an estimation of 2.5 million USD. The couple got married in 2008 and divorced in 2014.
Katie Holmes – Tom Cruise.
Diamonds are forever, marriages are not, as Katie Holmes and many others can tell us. But Tom asked her to marry with this extraordinary ring, with a 5 carat oval center stone, surrounded by another 6 carats of diamonds. The couple split in 2012 and the ring hasen’t been seen since.
Angelina Jolie – Brad Pitt
What a couple, and what a ring. They got engaged with this rock of 6 carats, set with smaller, but still large diamonds on the sides. The couple hasen’t finalized their divorce yet, so who knows who will run off with this ring.
Amal and George Clooney
The Clooneis, lets not forget the Cloonies.
Engaged in 2014 with this fabulous 7 carat emerald ring estimated at 750.000 USD. The couple got twins in 2017.
Megan Fox – Machine Gun Kelly
A most recent engagement ring is this beauty, a huge emerald and a diamond the same size, set in a typical toi-et-moi setting. Emerald is Megan’s birth stone, and diamonds is Machine Gun Kelly’s. Quite luckely, as the combination of emeralds and diamonds are amazing.
